What is Labradorite Stone?

It is collected from the shores of Labrador in Canada, and it takes its name from this coast. This unique stone is formed in igneous rocks.

Properties of Labradorite Stone

It is a calcium, sodium, and aluminum silicate. Its hardness is between 6 and 6.5. It crystallizes in the triclinic system and is formed by the phenocrystallization of constructive primary minerals, which cause rock formation, within basic pegmatites.

It is mined in deposits in many countries. It contains a multitude of colors from red to orange, and green to blue.
